The artwork shows two tattooed lovers, symbolizing east and west sides, meet in a embrace. Those two bodies keep the traces of the past but today they go beyond the differences joining together as lovers in a hotel. The mural is a celebration of the reunification of the two “Germanys” achieved by the dialogue and the understanding. The work by Boa Mistura is always integrated with the area in which they work because their aim is to create conscience and bonds between the people by bringing the art into the streets.
